I went to a Canterbury Speed Dating in August 2004 with my friend from work, it was a really fun evening and Lisa made everyone feel comfortable.  When I had my three minutes talking to Paul we really seemed to click and after the Speed Dating event everyone went for a drink.  Paul and I both put each other down as a hit and we went out the following weekend.

Well, what can I say - we started dating regularly, moved in together in January 2005 and got married in April 2006.   I don't think I would have met Paul without Speed Dating as he lived out of the area.  We are both really happy and I would recommend Speed Dating to anyone who is single.

Peter and I met at the Canterbury Speed Dating night, back in 2006.  I was a bit skeptical of it, and went mainly to support a friend - a decision I am now very happy I made.

During the evening we both met the other 14 people, but when we had our 3 minutes chatting together, we really hit it off.  We matched each other, and decided to meet soon after for a drink.

From then on we never looked back, we found we had lots in common, but without the speed dating, we'd probably never have had the opportunity to meet.

We got engaged last year, on holiday in Egypt, and planned our wedding over the next year, finally tying the knot in September.  We are both very happy together, and have encouraged all our single friends that Speed Dating is a great way of meeting new people in a great, relaxed setting.

Kyla and Peter

In May 2010, we both decided to give Speed Dating a try, because it felt easier to think about dating someone you have met face to face rather than the internet dating thing.  It was a nice social event as well as a dating event and we chatted quite happily to the people there.  

We both attended on our own.  When we received the email notifying us of a match I know we were both thrilled that we had ticked each other - and basically that is how we have felt ever since.  We are both very happy and plan to marry in 2011.

Tanya and Grant

Richard and I both went to a Speed Dating early in January 2007 in Kent with Singles Speed Date. Both of us only went to keep friends company and had no real idea that we'd actually met anyone special. But a week later and we were on our first date!

Over a year later, we are very much a couple and spend as much time as possible together. The only regret that I have is that we never met earlier!!

I moved down to Herne Bay in May 2006 after living all my life in London. I went to a Kent Speed Dating night on 15th May 2006 and that’s where I met Carl.

I would really recommend that people try Speed Dating, it’s a great way to meet new people and maybe even a partner.

We have known each other over a year now and have been together 9 months in July 2007.
